How you create impact
The Sea Logistics Customer Care Location Supervisor supports both internal teams and external Sea Logistics customers. This role leads the local Customer Care strategy, driving service excellence, improving customer experience, and strengthening long-term relationships. The Supervisor oversees a dedicated Customer Care team, ensuring smooth onboarding of new customers and team members, resolving customer issues promptly, and upholding the highest standards of service. With a focus on customer satisfaction, growth, retention, and teamwork, this position plays a critical role in delivering exceptional results and elevating the overall customer experience.
  • Lead and support the local Customer Care team in close partnership with the Sales organization
  • Oversee staffing, resource allocation, and project assignments to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Collaborate closely with Branch and Area leadership, as well as Sea Logistics Operations (OCC), to enhance the overall customer experience
  • Drive profit protection by preventing avoidable costs and service failures
  • Support financial excellence through accurate processes, strong controls, and continuous improvement
  • Participate in customer meetings and visits alongside local and Area Sales teams
  • Stay current on market trends, customer needs, and industry developments
  • Continuously improve processes, controls, and service delivery to ensure consistent customer satisfaction
  • Strengthen customer retention and engagement across the Sea Logistics account portfolio
  • Review and act on customer feedback to improve service quality and relationships
  • Foster a positive, supportive employee experience and contribute to team development
  • Maintain a commitment to self-development and ongoing learning
  • Manage quotation activities, including qualifying inquiries, preparing K+N quotes, and setting final selling prices
  • Engage in community-based activities with the team to support a strong local presence

What we would like you to bring
  • 2+ years experience in sea logistics freight forwarding
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with exposure to reporting and analytics tools such as Tableau
  • People leadership experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external interactions effectively
  • Proven problem-solving ability and adaptability in dynamic situations
  • Effective time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills to support sound operational and commercial decisions
  • Ability to manage customer relationships effectively and drive high levels of customer satisfaction

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
