Job description

Overview

The Network Engineer will work to design, deploy, and support our hybrid networking environment, with a focus on on-premise data center, campus and SDWAN infrastructure and integration with Azure cloud networking. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience troubleshooting network solutions that bridge on-premises, branch, and cloud environments.

This role will be in our Twin Cities Office! This is not a remote position. 

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain Azure routing policies, particularly for vWAN architectures
  • Configure and manage Site-to-Site VPN, ExpressRoute,
  • Configure BGP routing, dynamic routing policies, and route propagation between SD-WAN campus and data center edges and cloud hubs
  • Troubleshoot routing, latency, and connectivity issues across on-prem and cloud environments
  • Monitor network performance and capacity
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
  • Respond to escalated network incidents
  • Partner with cloud, security, and application teams on network-related projects and migrations
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of experience in network engineering, with direct experience in Azure cloud networking
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise scale WAN, LAN and vWAN
  • Strong understanding of network routing protocols, BGP, SMB, DNS, IPsec, OSPF
  • Experience with ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, NGFW
  • Experience designing and supporting multi-region cloud networking
  • Familiarity with network segmentation principles
  • Working knowledge of IPsec and QoS in SDWAN environments
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Experience with multi-cloud networking (AWS/GCP) a plus
  • Relevant certifications such as AZ-700

The base salary range for this position is: $80,000-$95,000 depending on experience and location.
