Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Teambridge, Inc

San Francisco, CA โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Posted 14 days ago

Job description

About Teambridge:
More than 60% of U.S. workers (and 70% worldwide) don't sit behind a desk. They're on their feet stocking stadiums, working the night shifts, caring for patients, and changing the linens. Their work keeps the world running, yet the software they rely on is rigid, outdated, and not built with them in mind.
Behind these frontline workers are administrators buried in tasks: building schedules, tracking expiring credentials, resolving coverage gaps, and fixing timecards before payroll closes.
For the past few years, Teambridge has been building the software that helps these teams operate at scale. Now we're using AI to handle that work end-to-end. Simply describe how your operation runs, from credential requirements and union pay rules to shift coverage and scheduling policies. Teambridge will understand your business, automate the complexity, and take care of the operational overhead.
Hundreds of thousands of workers across professional sports, national health systems, security, and logistics rely on Teambridge every day. We're based in San Francisco and backed by General Catalyst, Mayfield, Abstract Ventures, and industry-leading angels. We're building a future where frontline operations run themselves, allowing our customers to focus on the work that matters most.
About the Role
We're looking for a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate qualified pipeline for our Account Executives through outbound and inbound prospecting. This is a foundational revenue role, not an appointment-setting seat. You'll be the first conversation a prospect has with Teambridge, and the meetings you create become the deals that fuel our growth.
Previous SDR experience is helpful but not required. If you're competitive, coachable, and hungry to build a career in tech sales, we'll teach you the rest.
Responsibilities
  • Research target accounts and identify key decision makers within workforce-intensive organizations.
  • Conduct personalized cold email outreach tailored to each prospect's business and challenges.
  • Cold call prospects to open conversations and uncover opportunities.
  • Run thoughtful LinkedIn outreach and social selling.
  • Execute multi-touch outbound sequences that combine email, phone, and social.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, webinars, demo requests, and referrals, alongside your outbound efforts.
  • Book qualified meetings for Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all prospecting activity in the CRM (Salesforce).
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to refine messaging and test new outreach strategies.
  • Learn the workforce management industry deeply and become a trusted advisor to prospects.
  • Continuously improve your approach based on feedback and performance data.

Who Succeeds Here
We care more about who you are than the number of years on your resume. Whether your background is in sales, athletics, hospitality, customer service, the military, entrepreneurship, or another competitive environment, we're looking for people who are driven to improve every day.
The people who thrive at Teambridge are naturally curious, highly competitive, and motivated by growth. They embrace feedback, take ownership, and aren't afraid of hard work. They're energized by it. We hire for attitude, coachability, and grit, because great salespeople are developed through mentorship, repetition, and a genuine desire to get better.
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly competitive, curious, coachable, and resilient.
  • Organized, with the discipline to follow up and follow through.
  • Comfortable with outbound and inbound prospecting, including cold calling.
  • Excited by startup environments and motivated by growth and career progression.
  • Experience in sales development or a similar customer-facing role is a plus, but not required if you demonstrate exceptional potential. Background in HRIS, PEO, on-demand staffing, or workforce management is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, CRM systems, or sales engagement tools is a plus.
  • Located in the SF Bay Area and willing to be in office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

What You'll Gain
  • Hands-on mentorship from sales leaders invested in making you great.
  • A clear path toward Account Executive and other roles as we grow.
  • Exposure to the full sales motion: prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and pricing conversations.
  • Real ownership over messaging, sequences, and process, with a direct voice to leadership.
  • A front-row seat to how a high-growth AI company builds pipeline and scales.
