Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage enterprise-wide IT initiatives. This role requires end-to-end project ownership across software development, application support, production support, and release management functions to deliver high-quality technology solutions that support organizational objectives.

  • Location: Raleigh, NC (Local candidates only)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid
  • Interview Mode: Webcam or In-Person

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Delivery: Manage full project lifecycles from initial planning, scoping, and budgeting through execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate across diverse technical tracks, including development, infrastructure, QA, application support, and release management teams.
  • SDLC Oversight: Lead software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities alongside operational support operations (incident management, root cause analysis, and system stability).
  • Release Coordination: Manage change management protocols, deployment scheduling, rollback planning, and live production implementations.
  • Governance & Risk Management: Monitor project dependencies, track budgets, mitigate technical risks, and facilitate stakeholder governance meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must bring a strong blend of technical project delivery and IT service management skills:

  • IT Project Management: Proven experience driving large-scale Project Management, Program Management, and IT Service Delivery initiatives.
  • Multi-Team Coordination: Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent teams across Software Development, Application/Production Support, and Release Management.
  • SDLC Frameworks: Deep practical knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
