Mansfield Mancan is seeking an Automatic Screw Operator for a local screw company.
Job Purpose:
Produces machined parts by setting up operating an automatic screw machine.
Duties:
-Plans sequence of operations by studying blueprints.
-Select cutting tools by studying dimensions and tolerances of parts.
-Select cutting speeds and feed rates by studying properties of metals.
-Sets feed machanism by installing collets, busings, and stock pushers, setting controls
-Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
