Job description

Step into a day where precision drives everything you do

You arrive at your machine cell, review the setup sheets and blueprints, and get your Euroturn or Davenport multi‑spindle screw machine dialed in. Changeovers are second nature—you swap tooling, tweak cams, and optimize feeds and speeds. As production runs, you monitor every spindle, checking first‑piece and in‑process parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges so each component meets exacting specs. When a hiccup appears, you troubleshoot quickly—machining, tooling, or process—keeping output steady and quality uncompromised.

Core responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and fine‑tune CAM‑driven multi‑spindle screw machines (Euroturn and Davenport) to manufacture high‑precision metal parts.
  • Execute complex changeovers and tooling adjustments; optimize processes for quality and throughput.
  • Continuously monitor machine performance and make real‑time adjustments to sustain part quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and production instructions to meet all specifications and tolerances.
  • Independently troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area orderly and clean.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
  • Follow all safety procedures while upholding a clean, organized workstation.
  • Demonstrate rigorous attention to quality and a strong work ethic in every task.
What you’ll bring
  • Hands‑on experience with multi‑spindle CAM‑driven screw machines—Euroturn, Davenport, or similar.
  • Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and related precision measuring tools.
  • Solid blueprint reading and GD&T comprehension.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical demands
  • Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precise measurement and inspection.
