Job Overview
Individual will run Acme and Davenport screw machines. This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified mechanically inclined machine set-up/operator to work with a great company that offers excellent benefits. Taking this position, you will be joining a team of diverse professionals that work in a positive, energetic, and employee centered work environment. This team takes pride in producing quality products, while continuing to educate individuals to expand their knowledge for continuous growth opportunities within the organization.
A Day In The Life
  • Responsible for operation of screw machines; including, loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine.
  • Responsible for performing setup on screw machines; including, tooling changes, tool sharpening, and tool adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications.
  • Responsible for conformance with quality specifications.
  • Ability to assist other operators in performing tool changes, trouble shooting, and maintenance activities.
  • Ability to assist in training others on operation and setup of screw machines.

  • 1-3 years of Screw Machine experience
  • Relevant work experience; maintenance, mechanic, automotive mechanic, or trade school completion
  • Mechanically inclined - Individual needs to be good with tools and machinery and can adapt quickly to fixings things both familiar and unfamiliar.
