SUMMARY: The Sales Executive is responsible for driving growth across Awareness Technology's global distribution network, OEM partners, and direct end-user markets. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and promoting our full portfolio of diagnostic instruments, reagents, and development services. The Sales Executive will collaborate closely with Sales Management, Technical Support, and internal operational teams to ensure a high-quality customer experience and strong revenue performance.
  • Identifies, explores, and qualifies sales opportunities with new potential distributors, OEM partnerships, and direct marketing to end users through communications, and ATI product promotions. Conduct sales calls to inquire about their territory or region market needs. Provide programs and sales materials as needed to support distributors.
  • Promote and generates sales within the company's established distributor partners, including routine contact and calling on established distributor partners to solicit new business opportunity and sales
  • Research reagent manufacturing companies for potential instrument sales opportunity. Ensures accurate identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all potential distributor and customer prospect levels.
  • Contacts potential customer by phone, email and/or virtual meetings to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive sales leads through the sales process, including prompt follow up, concise and detailed communications and complete all steps to close new business.
  • Identifies and closes additional purchases of products by upselling Awareness Technology portfolio and services to current and potential new customers.
  • Works closely with Sales and Company Management, direct contact with Sales Order processing and account Management, strong alliance with Technical Support Department.
  • Responds to requests from customers for information, capable of providing accurate, product presentations both live and online.
  • Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on the full product portfolio offered by Awareness Technology, including instruments, reagents, and development services. Is knowledgeable on the B2B infrastructure with ATI distributors.
  • Required to keep Sales Management informed of all Sales activity, including timely preparation of reports, potential new business opportunity, OEM requests and a continuous Sales Pipeline for new and repeat business prospects. Reports obstacles and issues interfering with sales strategy and success to the Director of Sales/Managing Director.
  • Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations. Deliver sales presentations to key customers and customer groups.
  • Analyze customer accounts and distribution networks to identify largest opportunities for new business opportunity and promotional sales.
  • Maintain mutually beneficial relationships with key customers, decision makers and thought leaders.

  • Strong sales acumen with a proven ability to manage the full sales process.
  • Experience selling laboratory diagnostic analyzers or related technical products.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with non-native English speakers.

โ€ขEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline or equivalent experience in the IVD or diagnostics market.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in laboratory product sales or sales support. Diagnostics/IVD experience strongly preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and conferencing tools.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents; must be able to communicate effectively with others, many of whom are not native English speakers.
  • Multi-language skills are advantageous but not required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Domestic and international travel required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to sit, stand, or move throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. regularly and up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
  • Visual acuity necessary for working on computers, reviewing data, and conducting product demonstrations.
  • Manual dexterity for operating instruments and office equipment.
  • Clear hearing and speech for customer communication and presentations.
