Job Description SummaryResponsible for leading programs and cross functional portfolio integration planning across Patient Care Solutions (PCS), setting strategy while remaining directly accountable for the end to end execution of a critical program. Anchors delivery across new product introductions (NPI), platform evolutions, lifecycle management, and manufacturing transitions. Partners closely with Product Management, Systems Engineering, and other cross functional leaders to translate clinical, customer, and business needs into an integrated program and release roadmap. Establishes clear governance, metrics, and operating rhythms to enable transparent tradeoffs, timely decision making, and predictable execution, while sustaining the installed base through quality, reliability, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

The Senior Program Manager - Cardiology leads complex integrations and priority programs across the Cardiology portfolio, driving crossfunctional execution to ensure delivery against quality, scope, schedule, and cost commitments while maintaining strong PMO (Program Management Office) governance, portfolio alignment, and predictable outcomes

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the integrated program strategy and execution roadmap, lead tradeoff decisions across scope, timing, dependencies, risk, and resources.

  • Drive program execution from concept through launch and postlaunch stabilization using clear milestones, KPIs, action tracking, and leadershipready reporting.

  • Establish and sustain standard operating rhythms, dashboards, and portfolio management rigor to enable datadriven decisions and predictable delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS), Phased Review Discipline (PRD), design controls, and applicable global regulatory requirements.

  • Lead and align global, crossfunctional core teams (Engineering, Digital, platforms, Systems, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service) to deliver highquality products on time and within budget.

  • Partner with Product Management and Clinical teams to translate customer workflows, clinical needs, and product strategy into executable hardware and system program priorities.

  • Work closely with Systems Engineering to ensure requirements definition, risk management, verification/validation, and system integration are planned and executed effectively.

  • Develop sufficient understanding of product architecture, system behavior, and integration points to challenge assumptions, manage technical risk, and drive informed decisions.

  • Support lifecycle and installedbase programs, including cost, reliability, obsolescence, and regulatory sustainment initiatives.

  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment while strengthening program management and execution capability across the Cardiology organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience in product development or program management
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience leading complex product development and/or software programs in a crossfunctional environment.
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience utilizing Agile and Lean delivery methods, metrics, and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule with three days per week on-site at the GE HealthCare office located in Waukesha, Wisconsin
  • Demonstrated flexibility in approach to work hours, and willingness to partner with and accommodate global teams and schedules

Desired Characteristics

  • MBA or Masters degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
  • PMP certification
  • 11+ years of work experience in product development or program management
  • 7+ years of experience leading complex product development and/or software programs in a crossfunctional environment.
  • Demonstrated experience applying Lean processes and tools
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and drive daily execution and burn down of critical tasks needed to meet the program timelines.
  • Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues
  • Knowledge of GE HealthCare tools and processes (engineering, sourcing, supply chain such as PDM, Oracle, MyWorkshop)
  • Extensive experience in managing NPI Programs within the Healthcare industry (from concept to product release), including in depth understanding of regulated medical device product development processes.
  • Ability to develop unique concepts/solutions for complex products
  • Change agent with energy, passion, and enthusiasm to drive change and motivate team members
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, communicate, and drive decisions across technical teams and business stakeholders.
