Job description

Job Summary:
Ventus Solutions is a dynamic small business dedicated to delivering exceptional technology-driven solutions. They are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Program Analyst to assist the Program Manager in a science program by providing technical support, coordinating events, and serving as a liaison between various stakeholders to ensure successful program management.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide technical support and coordinate conferences, demonstrations, expositions, events, meetings, and technical reviews.
โ€ข Maintain briefings and coordinate input for data calls, such as budget exhibit submissions, congressional requests for information and budgetary drills.
โ€ข Assist in developing and maintaining key documents and master plans.
โ€ข Support technical management of programs including acquisition plan development, representation of the government project, and assessment of performance in terms of technical objectives, cost and schedule.
โ€ข Develop databases for technical programmatic tracking of milestones using programs such as task sheets, mission model canvas sheets, quad sheets, fact sheets and drafting portfolio review slides.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree - Masters Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience
โ€ข Ten (10) years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science, including biology, chemistry, computer science, and physics
โ€ข Recent experience (last 5 years) in federal acquisition and budgeting
โ€ข Experience in Science and Technology (S&T) program management
โ€ข Experience in technical program management of programs in excess of $1M
โ€ข Experience in planning methodologies to analyze research programs and development of databases for technical and programmatic tracking of key deliverables and milestones
โ€ข Experience in evaluating and developing analytical models, procedures, and techniques
โ€ข Experience in executing and reviewing technical studies, analysis, and design activities
โ€ข Secret DoD Clearance
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience collaborating with senior government (OPNAV, SYSCOM, Warfare Centers, Secretariat, or OSD personnel)
โ€ข Experience supporting senior Navy S&T leadership or programs on complex tasks
โ€ข Experience with Department of Defense Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (DoD RDT&E) program/budget exhibits & RDT&E strategic plans
โ€ข Experience in one or more of the following focus areas: (1) Naval/Marine Corps Naval Engineering, (2) Naval/Marine Corps Power and Energy, (3) Naval/Marine Corps Materials, (4) Naval/Marine Corps Undersea Systems and (5) Naval/Marine Corps Manufacturing
