Student Level: Grades 10-12 White Bear Lake Area Learning Center
Position Summary:
White Bear Lake Area Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and dynamic educator to teach Science to high school students in grades 10-12. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse student body, creating an inclusive classroom where all students feel they belong, find meaning, and believe they can succeed.
The ideal candidate will design and deliver lessons using a mix of traditional and interdisciplinary teaching styles that supports student engagement and critical thinking to meet individual learning needs and help students build a solid foundation in science. Responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, supporting student growth, and collaborating with staff to ensure success. This position works under the limited supervision of the Principal, with occasional oversight of paraprofessionals or volunteers. Current Minnesota Science licensure required.
Education and /or Experience:
MN Teaching Science License required.
