Job description

Important Note:

We welcome applicants with a background in science or biology related fields, not just those with a formal education in Medical Laboratory Technology. If you hold a degree in biology, biochemistry, microbiology, biomedical science, or related scientific discipline, we strongly encourage you to apply.

About the Position:

You will conduct and report on tests of all complexity levels, as defined by CLIA, for patients of all ages. Your role will support routine screening, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and injuries. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing complex problem-solving tasks.
  • Engaging in Quality Assurance and Quality Control Monitoring.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory instruments.
  • Processing specimens and performing phlebotomy.
  • Providing excellent customer service.

What we are looking for:

MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician)

  • Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
  • Alternatively, meet CLIA guidelines for the complexity of laboratory testing.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) or equivalent is required within one year of hire.

MLS (Medical Laboratory Scientist)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science.
  • Alternatively, MLT (ASCP) certified with additional coursework in clinical laboratory science and 2 years of full-time lab experience.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP) is required within one year of hire.
