Twin Lakes School CorporationPOSITION PURPOSE: School Nurses, as leaders in the school community, oversee all school health policies and programs. School Nurses provide expertise and oversight of school health services and promote health education. Healthy children are successful learners and school nurses advocate for the physical, emotional, mental, and social health of students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Registered Nurse; Ideally has worked as a registered nurse for 2-3 years prior to hiring in a related nursing field.
REQUIREMENTS:
โ€ข Board certified graduate of licensed registered nurse program.
โ€ข Current Indiana nursing license.
โ€ข Current certificate in CPR/AED
QUALITIES DESIRED:
โ€ข Prefer pediatric experience including adolescents
โ€ข Ability to create partnerships with teachers, students, parents and community
โ€ข Treat students with respect while displaying high personal integrity and ethics
โ€ข Emergency nursing and/or public health nursing experience
HOURS: As needed
SALARY: $100.00 per day
