Position: Non-Teaching Assistant - Carson
Pennsauken Public Schools is an urban/suburban Pre-K to 12th grade school district of approximately 5,000 students located in Camden County, New Jersey
Responsibilities:
  • Patrol corridors, stairs, stair wells, lavatories, cafeterias, parking lots, etc.
  • Provide assistance in proctoring co-curricular and athletic activities
  • Provide assistance in proctoring internal suspension and detention.
  • Assist the school administration in maintaining and enforcing school discipline policies, dress codes and attendance policies.
  • Assist in maintaining order during the boarding and departure of buses, as well as monitoring the arrival of students.
  • Shall be responsible for any duties assigned within the scope of employment as assigned by the school administrators.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Must have at least 60 college credit hours completed
  • Experience working with children
  • MUST pass NJ Criminal History Review Unit fingerprinting requirement
  • New Jersey state residency requirements for public employees in effect

Terms:
  • 10 month position with health benefits
  • $32,940 terms, and conditions of employment per contract
