• Conduct detailed assessments of students’ social, emotional, and psychological needs through virtual and in-person interactions.
• Provide individualized and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy tailored to children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement service plans in conjunction with clients and their families, addressing specific goals and measurable outcomes for emotional and academic success.
• Actively advocate for students’ rights and access to vital resources, ensuring they receive equitable support within the school system and the community.
• Engage in program evaluation and contribute to grant reporting by documenting your methods and client outcomes systematically.
• Collaborate with school staff, community organizations, and fellow social workers to enhance service delivery and expand outreach efforts for mental health education and resources.
• Participate in regular team meetings, professional training, and community events to promote mental health awareness and develop your skills further.

Your primary client focus will be school-aged children experiencing various challenges ranging from behavioral issues to mental health disorders. You will work with students who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or family-related problems, impacting their academic performance and social interactions. The goal is to ensure these students not only receive the necessary support but also learn coping strategies to thrive academically and socially.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
• In-depth knowledge of social justice, advocacy, trauma-informed care practices, and community resources available for families.
• Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities to effectively interact with diverse populations.

• Experience working in a nonprofit setting or direct service in educational environments.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, complemented by a performance-based bonus structure.
