Overview
Tecolote Research, Inc. is seeking a Schedule Analyst with 7-12 years of applicable experience-or 5-7 years specifically in government or aerospace industry settings-to support large-scale programs through expert schedule management, analysis, and integration. The selected candidate will contribute to the creation and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs), assist with project planning and control, and ensure alignment of schedule and resource plans with program objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Support the development, distribution, coordination, and maintenance of complex technical schedules for large- and medium-scale aerospace/government programs.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining Integrated Management Plans (IMPs) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs).
  • Utilize and manage integrated scheduling tools to support cross-functional project control teams.
  • Build and maintain resource-loaded schedules within automated schedule management tools.
  • Analyze and assess budget, schedule, and resource requirements to ensure compatibility and performance to baseline.
  • Identify and manage schedule and cost impacts resulting from changes in scope, priorities, or resources.
  • Collaborate with technical and program management teams to communicate schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Apply earned value management (EVM) practices and principles (EIA-748 standard) to monitor schedule and technical performance.
  • Support the generation of schedule-related reports, metrics, and briefings to project leadership and stakeholders.

Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree required in the following: Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics.
  • 7-12 years of applicable experience, or 5-7 years of experience specifically supporting government or aerospace programs.
  • Strong proficiency with project scheduling and management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience with resource-loaded schedules and automated scheduling systems.
  • Solid understanding of integrated scheduling concepts, critical path analysis, and change impact evaluation.
  • Familiarity with the EIA-748 Earned Value Management (EVM) standard.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting NASA, DoD, or similar federal programs.
  • Working knowledge of the PPBE process and project controls integration.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-disciplinary teams in a dynamic, schedule-driven environment.

Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
