Scheduling Manager

Description

This person is responsible for ensuring that client care schedules are up to date and filled in order to ensure that clients are receiving the highest level of support services and continuity of care. This is a salaried position that includes incentive bonuses.

Primary Responsibilities:

● Schedule care professionals with clients and communicate to all parties

● Maintain client and care professional documentation in scheduling software

• Maintain confidentiality of documentation

● Respond to questions regarding client and care professional schedules

● Develop and maintain strong working relationships with care professionals

● Confirm and update care professional availability including vacation, sick time and holidays

● Document skills and attributes of care professionals to ensure strong matching to clients

● Explain the scheduling process to new hires and assist with care professional recruiting and

orientation

● Update the office team and on-call team on scheduling issues and HR recruitment needs

● Maintain computer schedules and ensure timely data entry for clients and care professionals

● Verify care professional hours and client schedules on a weekly basis

● Conduct weekly reporting, including client hours, losses of clients, care professional call-

offs/tardiness, etc…

● Perform other functions as deemed appropriate by the management team

Required Skills and Experience:

● High school graduate or equivalent

● Scheduling, home care, and administrative experience preferred

● Familiarity and willingness to embrace AI tools

● National background check

● Strong phone skills

● Ability to multitask and work well under time pressure

● Positive, friendly attitude and ability to work well in a close team environment

Available for Occasional After Hours and Weekend On-Call, if Necessary
