SUMMARY
The Manager, Supply Chain Planning is responsible for supporting DC and Transportation planning, ensuring end-to-end network visibility through the Supply Chain Control Tower, and delivering actionable planning insights. This role supports planning processes across multiple horizons and ensures alignment between demand, supply, capacity, labor, and inventory strategies.
This role drives scenario-based decision-making, real-time operational visibility, and provides insights on capacity risk, operational readiness, and trade-offs between service and cost.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Planning & Finance Partnership

  • Support execution of supply planning activities aligned to business and financial objectives.
  • Support capacity and labor planning across all horizons in partnership with DC leadership, aligned to forecasted volume.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Finance on labor budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-serve analysis.
  • Establish planning governance, standards, and performance management frameworks.

Control Tower & Business Continuity

  • Support execution of the end-to-end Supply Chain Control Tower.
  • Drive design, development, and deployment of continuous improvement for Supply Chain Control Tower processes and tool.
  • Provide visibility and insights into execution health, risks, and opportunities.
  • Own business continuity activities including disruption response and continuous improvement.

Scenario Planning, Risk & Analytics

  • Lead operational scenario planning and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and risks.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and executive recommendations.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support execution alignment.

SC Partnership & Flow Optimization

  • Partner with DC and Transportation teams to maintain optimal flow.
  • Align labor capacity with forecasted volume and operational constraints.

Team Support & Execution

  • Lead and develop Supply Chain Planning team capabilities to ensure alignment to priorities.
  • Track Supply Chain Control Tower (SCCT) KPIs and support root cause analysis of planning opportunities.
  • Lead process improvements within planning and SCCT operations.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience in supply chain planning and Control Tower operations.
  • SQL, Advanced Excel and PowerBI required.
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to work cross-functionally to support execution.
  • Understanding of the impact of operational decisions to the financials.
  • Knowledge of S&OP and S&OE fundamentals.
  • Systems thinking across planning and execution.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5-7 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in distribution/logistics environments preferred.
