Job Title: Network Engineer - Consultant (Senior Cloud Network Engineer) Location: Columbia, SC Work Mode: Hybrid (Onsite initially) Job Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months (with possible extension) Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hours per Week: 40 Start Date: February 10, 2026 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer / Senior Cloud Network Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and security initiatives. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud networking environments across AWS and Azure platforms. The position requires strong expertise in cloud security architecture, automation, and enterprise networking, along with the ability to document configurations and support incident response activities.

Work Location Requirement Onsite required Monday-Friday for the first 90 days After 90 days, the role will transition to a hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite per week) Candidate must be a current South Carolina resident No relocation allowed Interview Process 1 round - Virtual Required Qualifications 5-10+ years of experience in information security and network engineering 5+ years of experience designing and maintaining infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure Strong experience in cloud security design, operations, and automation Hands-on experience with: o Security documentation (tools, deployments, configurations) o Incident reports and operational procedures Active AWS or Azure certification (mandatory) Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Cloud Solutions Architect Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA / PCNSE) Experience with: o Cisco Umbrella o F5 Load Balancing / Firewall o Prisma Cloud, InfoBlox, ForeScout o Palo Alto VM-Series and physical firewalls o Firewall implementations in AWS and Azure environments Additional Notes Security clearance and onboarding requirements apply Withdrawn candidates cannot be replaced Sub-vendor submissions allowed (one level only, if applicable) Sunshine Enterprise USA is an "Equal Opportunity Employer-Minorities, Females, Veterans and Disabled Persons"
