LOOKING FOR A FULL TIME DENTAL ASSISTANT

Midtown Dental Care is looking for an enthusiastic, eager to learn dental assistant that can work readily with different doctors and hygienists. The ideal candidate must have a willingness to learn, to adapt to changing schedules - we can teach you anything.
Our office: Modern paperless office, with 4 dentists (3 of them female) that do general restorative dentistry with state of the art technology. We have an encouraging and positive atmosphere, and encourage your autonomy within the office.

Responsibilities Include: Assisting chair side for the dentists, using computers, maintaining proper sterilization with instruments and operatories, taking digital x-rays, digital scans, Panoramic x-rays and taking digital and traditional impressions. Knowledge of Cerec machine, Trios Scan, Sprint Ray 3D printing, and Dentrix practice management a plus. Above all else, be a team player with a fun team!

Requirements
  • Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

Dental assisting: 3 years (Required)

Preferences
  • Dentrix
  • General Dentistry
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

Proficient in chairside assisting and dental terminology
Knowledgeable in general dentistry and digital dentistry
Familiarity with 3D scanning and aseptic techniques
Experience with EMR systems, particularly Dentrix
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Ability to perform X-rays and manage vital signs
Background in pediatric dentistry and four-handed dentistry techniques
