Reports To: Mailroom Supervisor
Position Summary
The Mailroom Scanner Operator is responsible for supporting daily mailroom operations by accurately scanning and processing incoming documents. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to remain on their feet for the duration of the assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate scanning equipment to digitize incoming mail and documents efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure all documents are scanned clearly and indexed correctly according to company procedures
  • Maintain organization of physical documents before and after scanning
  • Perform basic quality checks to confirm document clarity and completeness
  • Follow established handling procedures for sensitive or confidential information
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the mailroom
  • Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
  • Report equipment issues or document discrepancies to the supervisor in a timely manner

Position Requirements
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a mailroom, scanning, or document processing environment is a plus
  • Basic computer skills required
