Job description

Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Scanning Operator Level 1 opening for our client in Chantilly, VA.

Location: Chantilly, VA
Duration: Ongoing contract

Purpose: Assist with operational accountability for managing all aspects of digital imaging and scanning to meet contractual SLAs and ensure customer orders are complete per specifications.

Scope: This position is key for ensuring the accuracy of digital imaging processes and enhancing customer satisfaction through efficient document management.

Duties:

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations within a Digital Imaging Center, focusing on digital imaging and related duties.
  • Ensure customer issues and escalations are resolved or further escalated as appropriate.
  • Conduct quality checks on work to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and logical/physical security requirements.
  • Work independently and as part of a team; perform backfile duties for absent coworkers.
  • Receive, sort, and process mail documents and packages, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Validate and prepare documents for scanning, including removing bindings and inserting slip sheets.
  • Operate high-speed scanning equipment, perform quality checks on scanned images, and index images according to customer specifications.
  • Other duties as assigned by Lead or Manager.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documents.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data entry.
  • Familiarity with administrative tasks and document preparation.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Customer Service environment.
  • Data entry experience or background as an Office Clerk is a plus.
  • Experience in a digital imaging or document management role is advantageous.

Education:

  • Minimum High School Diploma.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
