Position Overview:
Candidate will be required to assemble and dismantle tubular and system scaffolding or other temporary structures. Candidate will be responsible for leading scaffold building crew in industrial environments. Conduct daily scaffold inspections and scaffold audits. Responsible for cleaning and preparing sites, including removing debris and loading/unloading scaffolding material. Candidate must successfully pass Competent Person Scaffold training/testing. Candidate is required to complete OSHA 30.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Promotes Safety workplace by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, wearing correct ppe, and observing for oneself and others
  • Has knowledge in various types of scaffold builds such as independent access scaffolds, birdcage, hanging, truss out, and tower
  • Has capability to safely build all types of scaffold including hanging suspended scaffolding
  • Ability to perform work at above ground elevations while wearing a harness and other PPE
  • Ability to lay out work and execute build
  • Ensures builds are within OSHA standards
  • Ensures correct material for build is available
  • Detail oriented to spot potentially dangerous conditions
  • Strong math skills related to basic, algebra, and geometry for calculating measurement
  • Work as general labor when needed
  • Additional duties as assigned
