Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION
The ability to climb scaffold, ladders, and stairs on a repetitive basis is necessary to perform the day-to-day functions of a Scaffold Helper. Scaffold Helper should also have a fair knowledge of system, and tube and clamp scaffold equipment. They must also be able to tie appropriate knots as they pertain to hoisting and rigging scaffold components. (Bowline, timber hitch & clove hitch)
Other Scaffold Helper duties may include:
• Receiving and returning material to scaffold yard/Client-down
• Knowledge of quality control checks and inspections
• Knowledge of scaffold hand signals
• Knowledge of material handling techniques
• Basing out and erecting scaffold towers, hangers and cantilevers
• Installing toe boards, guardrails, ladders, etc. on scaffold towers and low-level cantilevers
• Perform general laborer duties which pertain to the scaffold trade
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or GED, preferred
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in the Scaffold trade
• Bilingual Communication, preferred
