Job description

Scaffolding erector is part of a mobile crew going to construction and industrial jobsites to erect and dismantle scaffolding structures for safe elevated worker access to perform construction and repair services on buildings and manufacturing facilities.  Working Safely is critically important for all employees.  

Basic Skills Criteria

• Needs Basic Scaffolding Knowledge

• Needs to be able to start and complete erection of scaffolding squarely, leveled, to all required safety standards.

• Needs to have knowledge on all aspects of proper scaffolding installation.

• Have the ability to communicate on the jobsite with fellow crew members and understand equipment needs and coordinate material movement on the project.

• Ensure safe operations at all jobsites with assigned employees in full compliance with Company’s safety program and all regulatory requirements.

• Minimum 1 years’ experience with system scaffolding.

• All positions full-time, locally based employment for career with company.

o No per diem project-employment available.

• United States Citizen, required for government contracts.

o Legal immigrant candidates that pass U.S. eVerify status verification will be considered for certain branches.

• eVerify, valid US immigration status and citizenship verification is required.

• Pre-employment Drug Screen required.

• Pre-employment Background Screen required.

o No felony convictions in last 7 years

• Must have Valid Driver’s License and Reliable transportation.

• Physically fit, able to climb scaffolding and lift, handle, pass, and carry 75 pounds. (50-pounds for female candidates)

• Safety track-record without major incidents in previous employment.

• High School graduates/GED preferred.

• Candidates’ must provide their own steel-toe boots.
