The Infrastructure Engineering Manager shall provide Engineering Support for all DoD OIG data center and cloud projects and activities required to ensure the successful operation and security of NIPR and SIPR systems in the OIG data center and cloud environments.

  • Perform network design and implementation activities.
  • Perform cloud design and implementation.
  • Perform system design and implementation.
  • Perform project planning.
  • Develop technical documentation and standard operation procedures (SOPs).
  • Deploy automated discovery, mapping, and migration toolsets.
  • Perform server performance optimization and right-sizing activities.
  • Perform network and server monitoring.
  • Perform Disaster Recovery planning and implementation.
  • Deploy backup and encryption solution.
  • Perform validation of operational systems.
  • Assist with the identification of technical requirements, solution recommendations, and implementation of new solutions and capabilities software in accordance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to ensure the ongoing successful operation and management of the data center and cloud environments.

Requirements

  • Must have Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, information technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have 10 years’ experience in IT field
  • Must have 5 years’ experience managing hybrid IT environments and technologies.
  • Must have 5 years’ experience with implementing on premise and cloud infrastructure projects including servers, networking, storage, and VoIP.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
