Perma-Pipe in Lebanon, TN is looking for a Level II Maintenance Technician
The Level II Maintenance Technician performs intermediate-level maintenance tasks and equipment repairs with limited supervision. This role expands technical capabilities in mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
This is an on-site, U.S.-based position and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Essential Job Functions
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and production machinery.
  • Assist with electrical troubleshooting and basic controls maintenance under supervision.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and basic electrical schematics.
  • Support installation, relocation, and modification of production equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Qualifications & Skills
  • 2-4 years of industrial maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Basic understanding of OSHA safety standards and electrical safety principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborate with production teams.

Work Environment
  • Industrial manufacturing and fabrication setting.
  • Exposure to shop noise, welding operations, fabrication equipment, and moving machinery.
  • Work in varying temperature conditions depending on production and facility environment.
  • Frequent interaction with production floor personnel and active work areas.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves, and hearing protection.
  • Occasional extended hours may be required to support production schedules, maintenance needs, or project deadlines.

Education & Certifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training, trade school certification, or completion of an apprenticeship program preferred.
