F-15SA Modifications Mechanic - Electrical - Saudi Arabia

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Electrical Modification Mechanics to support our F-15SA Modifications team. The Modification Mechanic - Electrical - F15SA Modifications will execute electrical and avionics modification tasks at King Abdulaziz Air Base, Saudi Arabia, applying required technical competence to deliver safe, compliant, and timely modification outcomes.

This is a long-term expatriate position based 100% on-site at King Abdulaziz Air Base, Dharan Saudi Arabia. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.

This role reports to the Operations Manager - F-15SA Modifications.

(The selected candidate will be onboarded in alignment with program start and execution timelines; flexibility in start date and working hours may be required to meet operational demands).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Modification Execution & Production Support: Perform modification tasks on F-15SA electrical systems in support of the statement of work, using aircraft technical orders, engineering instructions, blueprints, and other authorized publications

  • Electrical Systems & Avionics: Install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical and avionics systems, wiring harnesses, circuit protection, sensors, and interfaces; use appropriate test equipment and procedures to validate work carried out and system functionality

  • Technical Interpretation & Problem Solving: Interpret technical documentation (drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, technical orders) to diagnose and resolve moderate to complex system faults and restore equipment condition and operation

  • Work Sequencing & Coordination: Coordinate with the maintenance controllers, coordinators, and management to sequence and prioritize work; ensure tooling, materials, and test equipment are available for scheduled and emergent tasks

  • Airworthiness & Test Verification: Perform operational tests, ground checks, and component inspections to verify airworthiness and conformity to modification and safety standards

  • Safety, Quality & Compliance: Adhere to Boeing standards, applicable regulatory requirements, QA, and Safety Management System (SMS) processes; participate in audits and contribute to corrective actions where required

  • Documentation & Records: Complete accurate technical records, modification logs, test reports, and discrepancy documentation in line with program, customer, and regulatory requirements

  • Continuous Improvement & Training: Contribute to LEAN/BPS/CI initiatives to improve throughput and quality and participate in / support training initiatives

  • Flexibility & Shift Work: Support a flexible environment with overtime as required to meet program timelines and execution demands

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 3 years of fighter aircraft modification or maintenance experience within a depot or MRO facility with demonstrable competence on electrical systems, troubleshooting and repair to include:Wire routing and cable bundles, precision termination experience with Coaxial and fiber optic systems.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical orders, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance publications
  • Hands-on experience using aircraft test equipment, support equipment and standard aircraft tooling
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to work in a multi-discipline environment supporting modification programs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Formal qualification in an aircraft engineering/technical discipline equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience or experience on fighter aircraft platforms (F-15 highly desirable) or other military fixed-wing platforms

  • Prior experience supporting aircraft modification programs, MRO, or production environments

  • Familiarity with maintenance recording systems and tool control systems
