Job Description:

The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex SAP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects. This role requires a seasoned leader capable of managing project scope, financials, schedules, and quality while leveraging both Agile (SAP Activate) and traditional ASAP methodologies.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end SAP projects, ensuring delivery within defined budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and baselines; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
  • Manage project financials, drive project closure, and ensure all financial elements are properly reconciled.
  • Apply Agile Project Management practices (including SAP Activate) alongside ASAP principles to accelerate delivery.
  • Proactively manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
  • Oversee quality gating across deliverables and project phases to maintain high product standards.
  • Control project scope and handle Requests for Change (RFCs) through formal approval processes.
  • Utilize or create specialized tools and dashboards to optimize project tracking and reporting efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of SAP experience, including 5+ years as an SAP Project Manager.
  • Proven success managing large, complex greenfield, brownfield, or transformation SAP projects.
  • Hands-on experience in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Successfully led at least two full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
  • Expertise in both SAP Activate (Agile) and ASAP methodologies.
  • Strong project management discipline with experience in SAP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects.
  • Proficiency in standard project management tools and ability to design new tracking mechanisms as needed.
