Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and purchase electrical components, hardware, and materials from approved suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and supply chain performance.
  • Issue purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers to mitigate risk and support cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing data, supplier records, and material requirements in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Monitor market trends, lead times, and cost drivers for electrical and electronic components.
  • Resolve supply issues, discrepancies, or shortages that may impact production schedules.
  • Support inventory management strategies to balance cost efficiency with material availability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Working on Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Ability to negotiate.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) a plus.
  • Knowledge of electrical components, connectors, and cable assemblies a plus.
