Job Description

We are seeking a full-time permanent SAP SD/WM Functional Lead to join a dynamic SAP team. With an SAP ECC 6.0 implementation underway, you will be responsible for implementing SAP solutions including requirements definition, business blueprinting design, configuration, testing, training and post go live support. You will be a highly visible liaison between business leaders and the development team, recommending the best course of action for the respective areas. We are seeking business minded individuals with strong communication skills, to articulate solutions and strategies to enhance SAP so that it drives long-term business performance.

Responsibilities will include:

Perform SAP SD/WM configuration for break/fix, enhancements and projects.

Ability to understand and troubleshoot EDI communications in SAP.

Identify system problems and determine necessary resolution.

Review business processes and recommend solutions for complex business activities.

Develop project plans for SAP initiatives and successfully execute all aspects of the systems development lifecycle.

Analyze suggested system configuration changes and customizations to help SAP team understand the potential impact to the system, users and organizational ROI.

Monitor progress of SAP projects and take corrective action as required to ensure that deadlines and business needs are met.

Partner with business community and other SAP team members to write business and technical specifications.

Prepare communications and provide updates to various levels of management throughout the organization.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: BS degree, preferably in Information Technology, Business or related field

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:  Minimum of five (5) years' experience with sales, distribution and warehouse management (SD/WM) modules of SAP. Must have at least 2 full life cycle implementations.

TECHNICAL ROLE COMPETENCIES: Strong project management skills Strong Business Acumen Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills High level estimation of project requirements Unit and integration-level testing Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with individuals at all levels within the company
