Job description

SAP System Support & Optimization
  • Provide day-to-day functional support for SAP users across manufacturing and supply chain.
  • Configure and maintain SAP modules (commonly PP, MM, SD, WM/EWM, QM, or FI/CO, depending on structure).
  • Troubleshoot system issues and partner with IT or external consultants for resolution.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements.

Manufacturing & Supply Chain Integration
  • Support production planning (MRP), work orders, BOMs, routings, and shop floor transactions.
  • Maintain accurate master data (materials, vendors, customers, production versions).
  • Ensure alignment between SAP transactions and physical inventory movement.
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and cost variance analysis.

Data & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for operations and leadership.
  • Support KPI reporting (OTIF, inventory turns, production efficiency, scrap, labor variance).
  • Extract and analyze data to identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with Finance during the month-end close to ensure system accuracy.

Process Improvement & Projects
  • Lead or support SAP implementation, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Document business processes and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Train end users on SAP functionality and best practices.
  • Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of SAP experience in a manufacturing environment (SAP EEC Version preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with at least one core module (PP, MM, SD, WM/EWM, QM, or FI/CO).
  • Experience supporting MRP, BOMs, routings, and inventory transactions.
  • Experience working directly with plant operations.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and ERP integration.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Experience with BI tools or data reporting platforms preferred.
  • Understanding of data governance and master data management.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
