What You Will Do
Auxo Medical Service Technicians are the face of our company to our customers. In this field-based, customer-facing role you will travel to hospitals, universities, research and surgical facilities, providing maintenance & repair, troubleshooting and related services that help keepour customers equipment in top operating condition. You'll help build positive, long-lasting relationships with customers and colleagues while completing the necessary responsibilities thatsupport the work environment.
Fields with similar, transferable skills include mechanical (military / agricultural equipment, vehicles, appliances), HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building maintenance and related service repair work.
Specific skills and experience include:
- 1-2 years hands-on experience in HVAC, commercial plumbing, electronics, mechanics, industrial maintenance, or similar discipline
- Technical training certification in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance from an accredited vocational school is preferred
- Strong technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and utilize schematics, diagrams and technical manuals
- Experience using a computer tablet and/or pc
- Understanding of computer programs and applications
- Superior customer relations skills
- Able to adapt seamlessly to multiple, changing priorities
- Ability to operate in a hospital/ambulatory setting that requires sterile uniform use (provided) while working
- Can work independently as needed
- Willing to work flexible hours (outside normal business hours) when required
- Valid driver's license and dependable personal transportation required
Physical Working Conditions
Position requires lifting (up to 75lbs), bending, squatting, sitting, standing and twisting. Ability to spend extended amounts of time in a vehicle. Trainees will assist experienced technicians at customer sites that include (but are not limited to); hospitals, operating rooms, laboratories, surgery-centers, pharmaceutical production facilities and animal research centers. Flexible scheduling may be required to accommodate customer needs.
