The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

The Experience
Salesforce is looking for a technically strong, energetic, and collaborative engineering leader to run the software engineering team for the AgentExchange Go To Market App. This is a new platform transforming Salesforce's AgentExchange (also known as AppExchange) from a basic listing platform into a fully integrated, transactable marketplace - accelerating ISV sales and recovering lost revenue by giving partners a seamless way to sell and customers an easy way to purchase, deploy, and pay for solutions, all without manual intervention. You'll help build a product that's streamlined (a cohesive purchasing and billing experience with fewer manual touchpoints), scalable (faster time to market with reduced overhead), and flexible (supporting a wider range of pricing models, including consumption-based selling). You'll lead outstanding developers with quality top of mind, in an environment built on open communication, feedback, and continuous learning.

  • Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering with product priorities, coordinate delivery, and communicate execution risks
  • Mentor and grow your engineering talent - providing technical guidance and career development, empowering teams to self-coordinate, and actively participating in hiring
  • Stay hands-on with technical work when needed, contributing directly to keep your skills sharp and support the team

You're Our Person If...
  • You have 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 3+ years directly managing and mentoring high-performing software engineering teams
  • You have a deep technical background in scalable, highly available platform development, with a focus on Java/Java Virtual Machine (JVM) languages and modern cloud architecture
  • You have experience leading teams and/or hands-on work with a major public cloud platform - Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - along with Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
  • You have a proven track record building reliable, self-healing services with robust automation and end-to-end service ownership

Even Better If...
  • You've led complex programs and managed cross-functional stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization
  • You've driven strategy around and actively used open-source technologies
  • You have a strong foundation in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with an emphasis on secure coding practices and code quality
  • You have hands-on proficiency with AI development tools, with enough technical depth to evaluate architectural integrity and AI-generated output
  • You have experience assessing candidates' ability to formulate effective prompts, evaluate AI outputs, and orchestrate multi-agent workflows
