Job description

Senior Salesforce Systems Engineer (Remote)
Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Systems Engineer who can own the technical direction of our CRM ecosystem end-to-end. This is not a ticket-queue administrator role; you will serve as the connective tissue between complex data architecture, enterprise integrations, and business strategy.
You will lead sophisticated technical implementations involving FinancialForce (Certinia) and similar cloud-based ERPs, ensuring seamless data flow across our financial middleware and core business systems. Your expertise will drive high-stakes Salesforce-to-Salesforce migrations and the development of robust DevOps pipelines that keep our deployment cycles fast and reliable. You will be responsible for translating executive requirements into technical delivery plans and communicating progress to stakeholders at every level.
If you are equally comfortable writing Apex triggers and presenting a financial data migration timeline to a CFO, this role was built for you.
The impact you'll make:
  • Architecture & Integration: Design and maintain robust integrations between Salesforce and our enterprise stack, specifically focusing on FinancialForce (Certinia), secondary cloud ERPs, and financial middleware to ensure a unified "Lead-to-Cash" workflow.
  • Migration Leadership: Lead high-stakes Salesforce-to-Salesforce migrations and ERP data transitions, ensuring rigorous data integrity, complex metadata mapping, and minimal disruption to financial reporting cycles.
  • DevOps Excellence: Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps) to ensure seamless, automated deployments.
  • Strategic Project Management: Act as a technical project lead. You will gather requirements from management, and help manage delivery timelines for your own workstreams.
  • Middleware Management: Optimize our data flow using middleware tools (MuleSoft, Boomi or similar) to connect SFDC with external data warehouses and cloud platforms.
  • Security, Compliance & Data Governance: Support SOX compliance, audit readiness, and change-management controls for financially significant CRM processes.

What you've accomplished:
  • Salesforce Expertise: 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow orchestration.
  • Integration Specialist: Deep experience with REST/SOAP APIs, including authentication flows (OAuth2.0, JWT, Named Credentials).
  • Processing Patterns: Strong understanding of asynchronous processing patterns (Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Batch Apex, etc).
  • Financial Force (Certinia) / ERP: Direct, hands-on experience with FinancialForce or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Data & Cloud Stack: Proven experience integrating Salesforce:
    • Data/Analytics:
      • IE:Snowflake, Tableau.
    • Cloud Infrastructure:
      • IE:AWS (S3, Lambda), Google Cloud.
    • Security/Identity:
      • IE: Okta, Jira, Slack.

Bonus points:
  • Active Salesforce Certifications (Platform App Builder, Integration Architecture Designer, or Data Architecture and Management Designer).
  • Experience in Salesforce org merges, large-scale data cleansing, or data migration tooling.
  • Background in agile methodologies with the ability to self-manage sprints and backlogs in Jira

The base pay range for this position is $113,624 - $184,320 per year
2026 US Benefits for Full Time, Regular Employees:
  • Physical Health (Medical, Dental & Vision)
    • 100% employer-paid premium for employees
    • Up to 80% coverage for dependents
    • Company HSA contribution with the High Deductible Health Plan
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan (employer will match contribution up to 3.5% of employee contribution)
  • Basic Life, Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance options
  • Supplemental, voluntary benefits
    • Student Loan Repayment/529 Education Savings with a monthly company contribution
    • FSA (Medical, Dependent, Transit and Parking)
    • Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance
    • Critical Illness Insurance
    • Accident Insurance
    • Short- and Long-term Disability Insurance
    • Pet Insurance
    • Identity theft protection
    • Legal access to a network of attorneys
  • PTO, paid sick leave, and company holidays (including a 2026 holiday shutdown)
