SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Zing Health is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to partner with business and technology teams in designing and delivering Salesforce Health Cloud solutions that improve member, provider, and operational experiences.


This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, helping translate business needs into clear functional requirements and scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable facilitating discussions, analyzing business processes, documenting requirements, and working closely with development, QA, and business teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle.


The successful candidate will have strong Salesforce Health Cloud experience, healthcare industry knowledge, and a passion for improving business processes through technology.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, analyze business processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and wireframes.
  • Design and document Salesforce Health Cloud enhancements, automation, integrations, business rules, and data mappings.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, and business teams to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Define integration requirements between Salesforce and enterprise applications, including APIs and the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develop test scenarios, and ensure complete traceability from requirements through deployment.
  • Support release planning by validating requirements, test plans, and readiness for production deployment.
  • Troubleshoot functional, integration, and data-related issues while working with technical teams to identify root causes and solutions.
  • Manage the intake and prioritization of enhancement requests, ensuring requirements are complete, well-defined, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure Salesforce solutions comply with HIPAA, organizational security standards, and established development and release processes.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform capabilities and recommend enhancements that improve operational efficiency and member experience.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably within healthcare.
  • 4+ years working with Salesforce, including Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare business processes, preferably within Medicare Advantage or managed care.
  • Experience writing business requirements, user stories, process documentation, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and gathering requirements from business stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Salesforce data models, objects, relationships, and security.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Experience with SQL and SOQL.
  • Experience creating process flows, wireframes, and workflow documentation.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud implementations.
  • Experience supporting Agile delivery teams.
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities such as Agentforce or Salesforce AI is a plus.
