  • Independently manage and deliver enhancements, defect resolutions, and maintenance activities, exercising sound judgment toidentifydependencies, assess impacts, mitigate risks, and drive work to completion.

  • Participate in solution design discussions, contributing technicalexpertiseand recommendations to ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable implementations.

  • Perform code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards, code quality, testing practices, and overall platform health.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing activities, including Apex unit tests, integration testing, and release validation to ensure solution quality, reliability, and compliance with established standards.

  • Utilize source control, CI/CD, and DevOps processes to support the efficient, secure, and reliable delivery of Salesforce solutions across environments.

  • Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Administrators, Architects, and other IS team members to coordinate releases, resolve technical challenges, and ensure consistent platform functionality.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions that improve platform stability, performance, and operational efficiency.

  • Stay current with Salesforce platform releases, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, proactivelyidentifyingopportunities to improve BCAA's Salesforce ecosystem and development practices.

What you bring:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, ora relatedfield, or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and supporting Salesforce solutions, including hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce platform configuration.

  • Experience developing and troubleshooting integrations using Salesforce APIs and related integration technologies.

  • Understanding ofSalesforce security concepts including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and role hierarchy.

  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams andparticipatingin software development lifecycle activities.

  • Proven ability in business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling, andmethodologydevelopment.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills, with keen attention to detail and efficiency.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices, including test planning, unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and releasevalidation.

  • BonusSkills:

  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Administrator.

The salary range for this position is$100,306.20to $125,382.84and isdeterminedviajob-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, marketdemandand internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.

Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 on-site / 2 remote days). Applicants who are notlocatedwithin commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking torelocateto the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.
