AMERICAN EQUITY INVESTMENT LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY

Title: SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR

DESCRIPTION: American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to work in our corporate office in Des Moines, IA. The Salesforce Administrator will serve as system administrator for the Salesforce environment; Handle all administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks. Maintain, enhance, and create workflows, functions and configurations within the Salesforce environment. Ensure integration and data exchange between Salesforce and external services, providers, or platforms. Test and approve system changes prior to deployment. Work with business units to ensure customer interactions are appropriately captured. Local telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week. 

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field, plus 2 years of software development experience, including: (1) application development on Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM platform; (2) Writing SOQL queries, custom Apex code, Lightning Web Components, build custom apps and objects, custom flows, and custom views; (3) Salesforce administrative tasks; and (4) business CRM processes including pipeline management, case management, account management, reports and dashboards, forecasting and campaign management.
