DMG is a Certified Great Place to Work with a strong, inclusive culture and top-notch benefits.

Job Summary:

The Technical Writer plays a critical role in bridging the gap between our technology and daily business execution. You will own the creation, optimization, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation for our Sales and Operations teams. Partnering cross-functionally with Product and Engineering, you will translate software updates within our proprietary DMGPro application into clear operational workflows, reducing friction and ensuring continuous process excellence.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop, format, and execute comprehensive SOPs and process documents that optimize sales and operational performance.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to translate complex DMGPro application updates, feature releases, and system changes into clear user workflows.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and documentation gaps to improve service delivery speed, compliance, and team onboarding efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Operations teams to extract institutional knowledge and document best practices.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized, standardized repository for all operational documentation, ensuring content is continuously audited, updated, and accurate.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by turning technical product logic into user-friendly guides for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, process excellence, and continuous improvement across business units.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Business Operations, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical writing, process documentation, or marketplace operations, preferably within a technology-enabled services environment.
  • Proven experience translating complex software application updates (UI/UX, logic shifts) into clear, step-by-step user documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail, structural formatting, and workflow optimization.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product & Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Excellent communication, interviewing, and stakeholder management skills; ability to seamlessly prompt SMEs for details.
  • Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.

What You'll Get:

At DMG, you’ll be part of an amazing team that encourages learning, growth, and advancement. Our company has an entrepreneurial spirit that rewards self-starters and encourages employees to take charge of their own careers.

Some of our many benefits include:

  • Health, dental and vision coverage on day 1.
  • Dollar-for-dollar 401K match up to 4% of salary with immediate 100% vesting.
  • Paid Primary and Secondary Caregiver leave.
  • Employee Assistance Program to assist with everyday challenges.
  • Paid time off to volunteer.
