Overview
Susquehanna Financial Group, LLLP (SFG) integrates expertise in trading, research, and sales to provide value to our client base of mutual funds, hedge funds, and pension/endowment funds.
As a member of our Cash Sales Trading team, you will engage directly with clients, execute order flow, and provide market-driven insights. This role involves close collaboration with our equity trading, strategy, market intelligence, and equity research teams.
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree required
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales trading, ideally with a focus on cash equities
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Deep understanding of equity markets, market microstructure, and execution dynamics
  • Expertise in examining order flow, liquidity, price action, and other critical equity market metrics to inform trading decisions
  • Ability to evaluate market trends, interpret equity flows and positioning, and assess execution strategy feasibility
  • Experience with Python, SQL, or VBA preferred
  • Proven ability to build and foster strong, collaborative relationships with institutional clients and internal counterparts
  • Client-focused mindset with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and willingness to contribute across projects and workstreams
  • An ideal candidate has strong ambition, a willingness to take initiative, and a desire to continuously learn
  • Possession of SIE, Series 7 and Series 63, or the ability to obtain all licenses within four months of hire, required

The annual base pay range for this role is $175,000 - $225,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits. Susquehanna considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, key skills, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
