Role Overview
As an Electronic Sales Trader you will be important member of Liquidnet's Low Touch & Algo Desk in the Americas aspiring to leverage you markets and trading experience to provide exceptional client services that drives revenue and incremental client breadth in one of Liquidnet's fastest growing product segments. The successful candidate will have 1 year of Electronic Equity Experience.
Role Responsibilities
  • Responsible for meeting trading revenue targets for the electronic desk and working with other teams, regions, and product lines in an effort for them to grow and meet their goals.
  • Work with the team to cover equity algo order flow across US primarily focused on single-stock equities and ETFs.
  • Communicate trading strategies encompassing Liquidnet's core offering.
  • Perform real-time monitoring of algo orders for clients and provide a best-in-class customer service experience (market color, benchmark selection, etc.) and complete account management.
  • Analyse pre-trade and communicate post-trade reports.
  • Proactively identify and leverage intraday opportunities to sell, reinforce and retrain on our products and services.
  • Prospect and convert new clients to LN platform.
  • Leverage our resources to grow business and cross-sell our product lines.
  • Contribute to driving, marketing and selling our platform regionally and globally.
  • Collaborate with RM team to formulate wallet share maximization strategy.
  • Develop and drive account plans in alignment with business OKR's and KPI's leading periodic reviews to monitor performance.
  • Partner with team members to develop and execute coverage back up plan.
  • Forge Strong Relationships/Teamwork.
  • Understand Liquidnet's algorithmic offering, consult with member community on behaviors and performance, and drive innovation internally with quantitative team.
  • Effectively communicate with Member Services and Trade Support on the proper management and resolution of any trade situations.

Experience / Competences
Essential
  • 3-7 years of sell-side experience as an Equity Trader or Sales Trader, with substantial expertise in covering clients executing equity orders through block trades, program trading, algorithms, and other electronic methods (algorithmic trading experience preferred).
  • 1 year of Electronic Equity Experience is a must.
  • Strong track record of selling to institutional customers to meet business objectives and revenue goals
  • Experience with quantitative trading strategies, pre-and post-trade analytics, including TCA
  • Strong understanding of market structure and regulation
  • Superior communication skills, self-motivated and responsible
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to problem solve
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Series 7, 63, and 57 required
