Role Detail

Position Title: Senior Manager, Sales Strategy & Commercial Growth
Location: East Coast, USA
Company: Vodafone IoT USA Inc 

Role Purpose

Responsible for defining and driving Vodafone IoT's commercial growth agenda across the Americas by translating market insights into actionable go-to-market strategies, commercial priorities and measurable growth initiatives that improve business performance.

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership
  • Develop and continuously evolve the commercial growth strategy for the Americas, including market prioritisation, customer segmentation, industry verticals and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Define and optimise the go-to-market approach by developing target customer profiles, value propositions, priority use cases, channel  strategies and commercial plays in partnership with Sales, Product and Marketing.
  • Establish a commercial performance framework by analysing pipeline health, conversion rates, forecast accuracy, sales productivity and revenue performance, recommending actions to improve execution.
  • Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships and emerging technologies through continuous market, customer and competitive analysis, supporting portfolio evolution and long-term growth.
  • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and business cases that accelerate growth and improve commercial effectiveness across the Americas region.

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

  • Significant experience in Commercial Strategy, Business Development, Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations or Enterprise Sales within telecommunications, technology or IoT.
  • Experience developing commercial strategies with measurable business impact.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise B2B technology markets and complex solution sales.
  • Experience building business cases and supporting investment decisions through data-driven analysis.

Compensation Range (base salary)

 $180,000 - $250,000 / yr

The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
