Summary:

The HVAC Sales Project Manager is primarily responsible for selling profitable installation jobs. This position oversees installation

jobs through scheduling, completion, collection, and referral. This position must meet or exceed budgeted monthly

sales including closing rate targets

Essential Job Duties:

• Review plans, itemize necessary take-offs (either manually, with help from vendors or using software),

request and keep track of submittals, solicit quotes, and generate complete proposals

• Engages customers in new comfort systems

• Executes sales presentations and builds value greater than the customer’s investment

• Ensure profitability of the department by accurately proposing all jobs, using book pricing, with an emphasis

on quality and value

• Communicates with our support staff, in a timely and efficient manner details of jobs, financing, and job

scheduling

• Communicates to Installers the job requirements and expectations of the customer through verbal

communication, pictures, drawings, and written forms

• Maintains contact with Installers and customers during installation to ensure a quality system is installed

• Prospects for new customers by outbound calling or door-to-door to increase customer base

Other Duties:

• Performs other duties as requested

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Knowledge of standard installation processes for HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing systems

• Ability to work evenings and weekends in a rotation to accommodate customer’s schedule

• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas related to policies and procedures and provide guidance

• Ability to multi-task and work independently

• Regular and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years Sales experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Possess a valid driver’s license

• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

• 3+ years of previous HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing

Physical Demands:

• Ability to operate tablet, computer, mobile phone and other field and office equipment as needed

• Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work

• Ability to lift/carry up to 25lbs repeatedly during work hours

• Ability to climb up and down ladders and/or step stools repeatedly during work hours

• Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time during work hours

• Ability to work in small and confined dark spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, etc.

• Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures (indoor/outdoor)

• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time between job sites and customer locations

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
