The responsibilities of a sales manager are to oversee customer accounts and relations processes, monitor the performance of sales representatives, train sales representatives on product information and selling techniques, and ensure that your team meets sales goals for your company. You may also oversee handling escalated customer service issues, managing inventory, and scheduling sales representatives.

What is a sales professional?

They identify potential clients, present offerings, negotiate terms, and work to close deals that benefit both the customer and their employer. Sales Professionals may work in various industries, including retail, technology, healthcare, or finance, and often aim to build long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business. Their responsibilities also include meeting sales targets, maintaining customer records, and staying updated on product knowledge and market trends.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a sales professional, and why are they important?
