Job description

As a Senior Operations Program Manager, you will collaborate with an experienced, cross-disciplinary team to conceive, design, and develop innovative consumer products. You must be responsive, flexible, and capable of thriving in an open and collaborative peer environment that insists on the highest standards.
Key job responsibilities
The Product Operations group is seeking an Operations Program Manager who is excited to work on products that our customers love. Product Operations is the single thread leader for Device Operations bridging product lines and Operations

Our role is to execute the Device Operations functional teams' strategies in alignment with the holistic product requirements. We deliver the roadmap by arbitrating the organizational tension between the functional teams' objectives to optimize for schedule, delivery, quality and cost.
This role is specifically in Echo Pre-concept space, to work on early stage scoping and definition for our new roadmap programs. The Operations Program Manager is a key member of the tight-knit cross-functional pre-concept team, responsible for and representing all facets of Device Operations


In this role, you will:
* Provide Operational inputs into early stage PDP milestones (e.g. PRFAQ, PA, ID Intent, EMS RFQ), Including product schedule, manufacturing strategy, product BOM+MVA cost, supplier sourcing strategy, Operations fixed cost drivers, and any Operations risk call-outs.
* Provide conduit into the Operations and Supply Chain organization for broader Amazon Devices organization, including Engineering, Product Management, Software, Design, and Finance.
* Work collaboratively to define business requirements and product definition to drive product roadmaps and portfolio direction.
* Contribute to and influence new product design and architecture
* Arbitrate and drive to resolution organizational tension and competing goals in order to deliver a clean set of requirements for NPI execution
* Understand current systems and limitations and drive continuous improvement
* This role may require some travel
