We are on the grow again and searching for a Sales Operations Manager. The Sales Operations Manager drives operational excellence across the sales organization by optimizing systems, processes, reporting, and analytics. This role partners closely with Sales Leadership to improve productivity, forecast accuracy, and data-driven decision making.
The Sales Operations Manager manages sales performance reporting, responsible for the sales technology platforms (including CRM systems), develops actionable analytics, and identifies opportunities to improve sales efficiency and revenue performance.
This position is eligible for the APS Hybrid Work Schedule for local candidates residing in the Shreveport/Bossier City area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sales Performance & Analytics
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support data-driven decision making.
  • Identify trends in pipeline performance, conversion rates, and revenue attainment.
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance insights to Sales Leadership.
  • Translate sales data into actionable recommendations to improve results.
  • Forecasting & Strategic Planning
  • Coordinate sales forecasting processes and maintain forecast accuracy.
  • Support sales planning, territory planning, and quota development.
  • Analyze historical sales performance and market trends to support strategic planning.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market signals impacting sales performance.
  • Sales Systems & Technology
  • Responsible for the administration and optimization of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales technology tools.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistent reporting structures, and accurate pipeline management.
  • Implement system enhancements and support new tool adoption.
  • Provide training and enablement to ensure effective system utilization across the sales team.
  • Process Optimization
  • Evaluate and improve sales workflows, policies, and operational processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the sales cycle and recommend improvements.
  • Standardize sales reporting, operational procedures, and performance tracking.
  • Partner with leadership to align systems, tools, and processes with business goals.
  • Revenue & Operational Reporting
  • Reconcile revenue sources, leads, and pipeline reporting.
  • Monitor sales-related expenses and operational metrics.
  • Generate and distribute reports for executive leadership and the sales organization.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy across CRM and other sales platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Revenue Enablement to support revenue growth.
  • Support special initiatives and operational projects as requested by leadership.
  • Coordinate communications regarding process updates, policies, and operational changes.
  • Administrative & Operational Support
  • Manage operational documentation and reporting requests.
  • Assist with sales meetings, operational reviews, and team communications as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This role provides an opportunity for advancement into a leadership position within Sales Operations.
Requirements
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The list below is representative of the qualifications, skills, and abilities required and preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.
  • 3+ years demonstrated and related experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operation or
  • 3+ years of experience managing others is preferred.
  • Experience supporting sales teams in a high-growth or technology-driven environment preferred.
  • Experience in administering CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Working experience managing or supporting a multi-tool sales technology stack including Gong, Zoominfo, Geopointe, Chili Piper, DealHub, etc.
  • 3+Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and pipeline management.
  • Ability to translate business needs into operational solutions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Enablement, and Operations.
  • Strong client centric focus.
  • Must be able to work in an environment in which constant deadlines exist.
  • Must be able to work the hours necessary to successfully perform in this position.
  • Must understand all company guidelines, procedures, and workflow.
