The Sales Operations Analyst will serve as the primary operational liaison between Visual Comfort Direct and acquired entity. This role is responsible for supporting successful integration, operational execution, and ongoing management of the acquired business within the VCD ecosystem, including item setup, inventory and product data integrations, vendor management, purchase order oversight, merchandising support, and daily operational escalations.
This position will partner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, IT, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Product Data, Finance, Ecommerce, and external vendor teams to ensure operational excellence, accurate product data management, inventory visibility, and exceptional customer experience throughout the integration and growth of the business.

How success is defined:
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact between Visual Comfort Direct and acquired entity, ensuring alignment, and maintaining strong cross-functional communication and partnership.
  • Manage daily operational escalations related to product availability, inventory discrepancies, customer order issues, shipping delays, system exceptions, and integration support.
  • Oversee item setup and product lifecycle management within D365, ensuring accurate product attributes, pricing, categorization, vendor setup, and assortment maintenance.
  • Coordinate and manage inventory feed integrations, product data synchronization, and D365 data entity integrations between systems and external platforms.
  • Partners with IT, Ecommerce, and Product Data teams to support system integrations, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure data integrity across customer-facing and operational systems.
  • Manage purchase order workflows, including vendor purchase orders, merchandising purchase orders, tracking, maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Proactively monitor and manage backorders, open purchase orders, and inventory exceptions to support customer delivery expectations and sales objectives.
  • Support web assortment strategy and operational execution, including product onboarding, assortment changes, merchandising updates, and inventory visibility for ecommerce platforms.
  • Coordinate vendor management activities including communication, operational alignment, issue resolution, and ongoing relationship management with acquired entity and related suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain operational processes, SOPs, and reporting tools that support integration efficiency and long-term operational scalability.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Ecommerce teams to support product launches, promotional initiatives, assortment planning, and inventory readiness.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and provide reporting related to inventory health, purchase order status, integration exceptions, and customer-impacting issues.
  • Support cross-functional training and change management initiatives related to the acquired entity integration and ongoing operational processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiencies across systems, workflows, and vendor interactions.
  • Perform additional duties and strategic operational initiatives as assigned.

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4+years of experience in operational integration from M&A or divisional operations.
  • Experience working with global teams or vendors preferred.
  • Effective communicator across all contact channels, including email, chat, and phone.
  • Strong aptitude for and proficiency navigating CRM and Order Management systems.
  • Experience in interior design, custom home building products, luxury home furnishings and/or lighting industry a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgement with strong reliability, accountability, and time management.
  • Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $80,000
Compensation is based on individual factors, including skill set, relevant experience, and work location
