WPHL-TV, part of Nexstar Media Group-the largest local media company in the country-is seeking a full-time Sales Marketing Executive. This role supports revenue growth across WPHL and its digital portfolio, including platforms such as Amazon, Weather.com and many other advanced digital solutions.

Position Overview

The Sales Marketing Executive partners with sales leadership to develop strategic, cross-platform marketing solutions that drive revenue, deepen client relationships, and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Strategy

  • Develop strategic account plans aligned with client goals to drive long-term growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across existing accounts and emerging verticals
  • Support revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and achievement of sales targets

Client Solutions & Presentations

  • Create compelling sponsorships, proposals, and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with Sales teams on client presentations and attend key sales meetings
  • Assist in developing pricing strategies and customized commercial pitches

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Creative, News, Product, Analytics, and Operations teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns
  • Lead development and execution of cross-platform opportunities across broadcast and digital channels
  • Ensure seamless campaign execution and implementation

Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive insights, and new opportunities
  • Contribute to station-wide advertising strategies and Nexstar initiatives
  • Advocate for client needs and provide feedback to enhance products and offerings
