Job Description

The Sales Engineer will report to the Sales Engineering Lead and be an integral part of the sales process. A Sales Engineer leads the end-to-end technical process, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, oversight and ongoing support. These professionals bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities by translating business requirements into technical specifications and designing comprehensive solutions that meet organizational objectives. 

  • Technical Leadership: The Sales Engineer plays a key technical leadership role, partnering closely with the customer's SecOps teams to tailor solutions that precisely address their unique security challenges and operational requirements.
  • Support the sales team on prospect conference calls and onsite visits by providing product demonstrations, responding to technical questions and explaining features in the context of solving the prospects' business problems.
  • Plan, manage and execute prospect POVs (Proof Of Value). Hands-On troubleshooting and installation of product is required.
  • Lead technical response to RFPs and RFIs by writing clear responses to commonly asked questions and gathering answers from other internal technical experts.
  • Participate as a technical resource at any/all prospect meetings, seminars and events.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or in a similar customer-facing technical role, preferably in the cybersecurity domain.
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end technical engagements - from discovery and requirements gathering through hands-on implementation, POCs/POVs, and post-sale support.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise network and security architecture (e.g., firewalls, EDR, XDR, SIEM/SOC workflows, vulnerability management).
  • Experience delivering technical product demos and presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with product deployment and troubleshooting in customer environments.
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with threat exposure management platforms or risk-based vulnerability management tools.
  • Background working with or for MSSPs, enterprise IT, or security operations teams.

Must be eligible to work in country of residence without sponsorship now or in the future.
