Home Health Sales / Business Development Liaison - Temple, TX

Confidential home health client is seeking experienced Home Health Sales / Business Development Liaisons for multiple Central Texas markets.

Compensation: Base Salary: $60,000 to $110,000, Depending on experience. First-Year Bonus Potential: $20,000 to $30,000. Vehicle / fuel allowance. Strong benefits package.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven healthcare sales professional with local market knowledge, established referral relationships and a strong track record of building census through outside referral development. Home health sales experience is highly preferred. Hospice, senior living, post-acute, hospital, physician referral development or related healthcare sales experience may also be considered. Candidates must be local to the market and able to speak specifically to prior sales activity, referral development success and measurable performance.

Position Summary

The Business Development Liaison is responsible for developing new referral sources, maintaining strong referral relationships and consistently promoting the agency in the local market. This person will implement a sales and marketing plan designed to meet or exceed census goals, financial objectives and overall business development targets.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and grow referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, senior living providers, case managers, discharge planners and other healthcare referral sources.
Identify, prospect and cultivate new referral sources throughout the assigned market.
Maintain and strengthen existing referral relationships through consistent field presence, follow-up and professional communication.
Promote the agency's services in a highly professional, ethical and mission-driven manner.
Execute sales and marketing plans designed to grow census and market share.
Track referral activity, sales calls, contacts, follow-up and pipeline development through sales software / CRM.
Communicate effectively with internal operations, clinical and leadership teams.
Represent the agency at community events, professional networking opportunities and referral source meetings.
Maintain strong knowledge of the local healthcare market, referral patterns, competitors and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of sales, marketing, business development, liaison or referral development experience required.
Home health sales experience strongly preferred.
Hospice, senior living, hospital, post-acute or related healthcare sales experience may also be considered.
Healthcare service sales experience required.
Outside referral development experience strongly preferred.
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, facility leadership, community partners and referral sources.
Strong communication, follow-through and relationship-building skills.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current auto insurance required.
